The Pateley Bridge Methodist Circuit is based in the heart of the beautiful Nidderdale area and comprises 5 churches - Wath, Pateley Bridge, Glasshouses, Darley and Summerbridge.
Methodism has always been strong in Nidderdale, with many families having their roots in the Methodist Chapels which proliferated in the late 19th century. Today our churches reach out into the community, working with old, young and everyone in between! The Circuit is currently led by a support team from the Yorkshire North and East Methodist District, before the arrival of our new minister Reverend Neville Simpson in September 2023.
The Methodist Circuit produces a regular free magazine and a copy can be obtained from any of the churches, at Nidderdale Plus in Pateley Bridge, or by emailing your request to summerbridgechurch@gmail.com
